What's a family session like?
My only expectation for children during our sessions is that they are behaving like children... snuggling, exploring, dancing, pouting, giggling, climbing, jumping and being silly. You see, my goal is to capture the beauty of your life.

I do some directing and gentle posing but I do it in a way that lets your authentic self shine. We sneak a few posed shots in here in between beautifully candid photos.

I don't set strict time limits on sessions for two reasons:
First, location. Locations vary and some may require some hiking. We may move around a location for variety and we may pause for a few moments for the most perfect light.
Second, because little humans sometimes need time to adjust and settle in, sessions are out of their routine and I get that. Aside from being a mama and a grandma, I owned and operated a daycare business for many years. I'm happy to say that little ones are a specialty of mine!
Your session will be relaxed and fun for everyone. That's how it should be!
